POWItem
Item Unlock Pickups are a type of item pickup present in the 2014 Strider. These items appear in the form of small, floating red cubes shaped as the word "Pow". The "Pow" item is a recurring pickup used by Capcom that has appeared in several Arcade games including Vulgus, SonSon, Gun.Smoke and 1942. While each game has a different "Pow" design, the one in Strider is identical to the item as seen in 1987's Black Tiger.

These pickups can be found all across Kazakh City, usually floating high above ground or in hidden areas. When picked up, they unlock different types of bonus content that can be viewed in the "Extras" section found in the Main Menu and the in-game Pause Menu. When picked up, they reproduce the short tune heard in the original Strider after inserting a coin.[1]

Rach the second plate, then repeat the process to reach the POW item.

Requirements: Down Strike, Plasma Catapult
In front of the east door in the first room, go under the walkway in front and drop down. Break through a floor to enter a blue-tinted hall, go east until you find a Plasma Ring and go through it to reach a room with a giant brain in the background and the item at the other end.
