Release Dates: 22px-Flag of Japan.svg February 1, 2010[1]

Strider Hiryû (ストライダー飛竜) for mobile phones was a port of the original CPS-1 coin-op, accessible from the "Capcom Party" site through NTT DoCoMo's i-mode service, for the FOMA 703i/903i series of mobile phones[1]. The game became unavailable after the website was shut down on March 31, 2014.

The port is a faithful reproduction of the original game, keeping characters, stages and even the multi-language voice samples used in cutscenes intact. The only major changes are seen in the game's interface, which has been optimized and arranged to fit the mobile phone's smaller resolution, and the new set of options included in the game's title screen, including a "Ranking" option for players to share their High Scores online, "Information" and "Web Site" link.

This marks the second time Strider-related material is sold through the i-mode service, following a set of screen images of the series released in February 2001.[2]
